Once you’ve created a new scorecard, and optionally taken a photograph of your scorecard, you are ready to plot shots.
There are two main ways to do this, and one is fater than the other:
Method 1 (fastest): Plot all of the shots on the scorecard one after the other, without adding shooting data (such as elevation and wind), and then go back and add the shooting data later.
Method 2: Plot each shot, one after the other, adding shooting data for each shot as you go.
Method 1 (fastest)
Step 1: Plot the shot locations
Tap the green banner to the top left saying Tap here to add shots, or alternatively tap the Edit scorecard toolbar item, followed by Add shots.
A shot will appear in the centre of the target. You can move this shot by moving your finger anywhere on the target.
You do not need to place your finger above the shot, moving your finger at a position away from the shot will allow you to see where the shot is without it being obscured by your finger.
Move the shot to above the location of the first shot on your written scorecard and tap anywhere on the target to place the shot.
DO NOT TAP CLOSE on the Add Shot Toolbar until you’ve finished adding shots – tapping Close indicates that you’re finished adding shots, not that you have finished adding the current shot!
Step 2: Add details for each of the shots
Once you’ve added the shot locations, you can go back and add details for each of the shots.
Firstly, tap Edit scorecard on the toolbar, then Edit shots. Each of the shot parameters can be adjusted using the edit shot toolbar which will appear:

As above, don’t tap Done until you’re done editing all shots – it signifies you’re done editing, not that you’re done on the current shot.
Now select each of the shots in turn using the list on the left of the screen. You can adjust the following parameters as follows:
- Wind and elevation: either dragging your finger across the wind and elevation graphs. You will see the elevation and wind values change in the edit shot toolbar. You can also tap to the right or left below Wind in the toolbar.
- Zero: Tap below Zero in the edit shot toolbar. A dialog box will appear.
- Calling/flagging a bad shot: Tap below Call in the edit shot toolbar. A dialog box will appear.
- Flagging a miss: Tap below Score in the edit shot toolbar.
- Convert a sighter: Tap the swith below Convert? when the shot is selected.
When you’re done editing shots, you can save the scorecard by tapping Save on the toolbar at the top of the screen.
Always ensure you tap Save before exiting the scorecard to avoid losing any data.
Method 2
It is also possible to add details of each shot before or after you place it as you go. This method is slower, but may be useful if you want to spend more time thinking about your shots as you add them.
As in Method 1, start by tapping the green banner to the top left saying Tap here to add shots, or alternatively tap the Edit scorecard toolbar item, followed by Add shots.
A shot will appear in the centre of the target. You can move this shot by moving your finger anywhere on the target.
Move the shot to above the location of the first shot on your written scorecard and tap anywhere on the target to place the shot.
Before or after tapping to place the shot however, you can set parameters for the shot using the process described above in Method 1.
Once you have tapped to place the shot you can still update the values – as you can before the shot is placed, however to add values for a new shot, drag anywhere on the plot after tapping to place the previous shot. This will provide you with a new shot marker, the shot parameters for which you can amend before and/or after placing the new shot by tapping.
